Bell Pepper fry

  • 1 Sauce pan with lid

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  • 3 cups Cut bell peppers chopped to small pieces
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp Besan flour or Gram flour

Instructions
 

  • Heat a sauce pan and add oil to it. Once hot, add in the cumin seeds and asafoetida and wait for it to splutter.
  • Add in the cut bell peppers cover with a lid and cook for 10 min or until you can break the peppers with your spatula easily.
  • Add in the turmeric and chilli powder and cook for another 5 minutes until the spices are incorporated well.
  • Add in the gram flour and stir the entire mixture and cook for 2 minutes. Overcooking the gram flour can cause a burnt flavour.
  • Serve with Roti or rice and enjoy!
